3-in-1 Discovery Combo Tour: Tulum Ruins, Reef Snorkeling Plus Cenote and Caves
Wonderful 3-in-1 day trip
, Feb 2020
The tour was great and this had a lot to do with our guide Sylvana. She did a superb job in arranging and helping us navigate through everything. Taking 12 people through cenote swimming and snorkeling when half of the people were not quite ready for these activities seemed an impossible task but it would almost appear like a cake walk for Sylvana. She took care of individual needs and had clear instructions for everyone to ensure they made the most of the experience. She was passionate about promoting the understanding of the local culture and nature which made things enjoyable.
What a great experience! Would highly recommend this tour. We had a fabulous day out, the cenote was the highlight of the trip! Enough time spent in each location, great snack and standard buffet lunch.
Explore coral reefs, ancient history, and nature in the Riviera Maya on an combination tour that features some of the best of Yucatan in a single day. Snorkel through the coral reef in the Caribbean Sea, visit the Tulum archeological site, and swim in a cenote, then explore a limestone cave and take a jungle walk. This tour includes entrance fees, a buffet lunch, and door-to-door transport from hotels in Cancun or Playa del Carmen.
I had such a great time this week with this tour! The hotel pickup service was prompt, and we received thorough instructions upon arrival. Everything was well coordinated and safe! The cenote we visited even had a zipline into the water. You wont be able to take your phone with you for pics during the activities but the guys take really quality photos of you at each activity- allowing you to review the pics at the end before choosing a package. Thank you Mike for letting me hop on your ATV, Fernando you rock, Eddie for my colorful cookies, Sexy Lexi for my photos and beautiful Deanna too! You guys rock - Jocelyn
Travel through the Mayan jungle on this action-packed all-day guided tour. Hop on your own ATV (or ride along with a driver) and head to a cenote, an underwater pool, where you can take a refreshing dip. Then fly above the treetops on a ziplining course. A local Mayan lunch is included. Only those 18 years old and above are permitted to drive their own ATV.
All inclusive Chichen Itza, Valladolid with Cenote Swim & Mexican Buffet
Overall good tour
, Feb 2020
Overall the tour was good, organised and planned well. The tour guides were very knowledgeable. Would Highly recommend bringing water bottles and a hat when touring Chichen Itza, very hot standing in the sun for hours.
The only issue was, I had selected the option for hotel pickup, but last minute it was changed to a meeting point pick up and I wasn't even notified. Thus, we had to arrange for a taxi last minute to get us to the meeting point.
Journey to Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula to visit the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza on this full-day excursion that includes easy hotel pickup and drop-off. Along with seeing El Castillo and learning how this pre-Columbian city played an important role in the Mayan civilization, visit the colonial town of Valladolid, stop at a cenote for a quick swim, and enjoy a buffet lunch.
Chichen Itza, Ik Kil Cenote & Valladolid All-Inclusive Tour
Juan is the greatest
, Feb 2020
Our guide Juan was fantastic. He taught us so much about his Mayan culture. He was hilarious made us all laugh while at the same time teaching us about the areas we visited. I would take this tour 100 more times as long as he would be the guide. Best tour best time of our lives thank you
Norma was a lovely, lovely tour guide. We were able to book last minute and everything was so timely and efficient. The bus was comfortable, which is great because you spend a lot of time on it- it’s a LONG day so be prepared for that! We brought snacks which I was grateful for because lunch is not vegetarian friendly and not very good either. Other reviews talk about feeling pressured to make purchases and while there are vendors everywhere and always an opportunity to buy trinkets or food, just realize people are just trying to make a living and you can buy or not, it’s not a big deal. But overall it was an excellent day, Norma and Manuel were fabulous hosts and they deserve all of your tips at the end of the day.
The Yucatan Peninsula offers visitors a treasure trove of history, from the pre-Columbian archeological sites of the Maya civilization, to 16th century towns settled by the Spanish. Experience this history firsthand with a full-day tour from Cancun or the Riviera Maya. See the ancient Maya site Chichen Itza (admission not included) the pyramid of Kukulcan, and explore the architecture in Valladolid. After a busy day exploring, refresh yourself in the waters of the Ik Kil cenote, and enjoy a delicious buffet meal.
Our guides were magnificent and very knowledgeable. They made the time in the bus fun! However, it was a VERY long day...with our hotel pickup at 7:00 am and return at 9:30pm!!! Had to stop at a “xfer station” for logistics and breakfast so by the time we actually got on the road for the excursions it was almost 9:45. The Cenote and lunch were fun and Chichen Itza interesting, but honestly, I enjoyed Tulum and Coba more if you can only do one. If you are going to do this, bring a book, swimsuit and towel. The guides were also very generous w the liquor on the ride home— that helped ;)
One of the best tours ever. Wat made it so good were all the tour guides, especially Victor who educated us on Mayan culture. Plus drinks were flowing openly the whole time. The enthusiasm of the guides was just amazing. Highly recommended. The temples and cenote were absolutely fabulous. There was an amazing performance from the Mayan people in the cenote as well . Over all once of the best tours experiences
It was a very long day for sure! But our hosts made it a great fun day! Victor started out with his amazing knowledge about the Mayan culture! The drive pretty long, did not appear that long because of his fun facts! We went to a cenote that was beautiful . We had lunch and than went on to chichen Itza. Unfortunately we were only a little over 2 1/2 hours in Chichen Itza. I wished we could have stayed there a little longer. Gerry did a a great job explaining and informing us. We had to be back at 5 pm .
There were two couples who came back 20 mins late. We were in the process of leaving when they showed up! no fun!! We left for Valladolid to see the Spanish architecture and old church . Very nice, but i rather would have stayed 1 hour longer in Chichen Itza. On our way back our hosts came around with drinks! So much fun. You guys did a great job to entertain us. Thanks for a great day. We loved it
Explore the ancient Mayan city of Chichén Itzá on an all-day tour from Playa del Carmen. After a convenient hotel pickup, travel to this important pre-Columbian ceremonial center to learn about its temples, observatory, pyramid, and ball court from an informative guide. Cool off in the holy waters of the Sutyun cenote before grabbing lunch at its namesake restaurant (included in the tour price).
Pickup was on time. It’s a large group so you travel on a bus. Driver was good felt safe the whole ride. Esther the host did a great job. It’s a long day but totally worth it! Had a tour of the ruins then a hour to explore. Nice amount of time at the cenote. Then little bit of time to out Valladolid the church there was cool. The order and amount of time for the activities is perfect highly recommend.
This full-day tour from Cancun packs a sightseeing punch—see Valladolid, a 16th-century colonial city, visit the ancient Maya civilization of Chichen Itza, a UNESCO Site, and have a chance to participate in an ancient Mayan purification ritual of Temazcal guided by a real shaman. In the archaeological zone, admire the Kukulkan pyramid and the Temple of Warriors. A guide explains the cultural importance of the landmarks you stroll past. Spend leisurely time relaxing in the peaceful cenote of Ik-Kil. With round-trip hotel transport, this is a hassle-free experience you don’t want to miss.
My family had an awesome time sailing on the Paradise! Even those who had never sailed before. Pickup was prompt, and all of the service was friendly and clean. The boat was nice and all of the staff wanted to make sure you were having a good time. Snorkeling was fun but definitely only for strong swimmers, as the current is strong. We saw the underwater museum which was neat. Then we stopped for lunch in a secluded beach club, which had something for everyone, even the picky eaters. We had time to relax in a pool and go to the beach. Then the boat took off for Playa Norte. We had 2 hours on the island which was plenty of time to rent a golf cart. Everyone had a lovely day.
The crew was amazing and the Island was beautiful. Snorkeling wasn’t that impressive but it was just a pit stop to the Island. The buffet lunch was ok but the beach it was on was unimpressive. Once you get to town you can visit the nicer beaches and do some shopping, but 2 hours wasn’t enough time.
Spend the day soaking up the sparkling Caribbean on this catamaran cruise to Isla Mujeres from Cancun. Feel the gentle breeze as you sip drinks from an open bar. Hop into the water to snorkel at a reef location teeming with vibrantly hued fish. Dock at a private beach club for a delicious buffet lunch and even more down time. Upon arrival at Isla Mujeres, enjoy free time to explore and shop. For added convenience, upgrade to include hotel transport from Cancun to the departing marina.
Extremely organized and fun. Saw 3 turtles and a lot of fishes! Our guide Fernando was extremely helpful and concerned about all the customers. Our photographer, Eddie was taking pictures of everyone at all times. Very satisfied with the tour.
Explore some of Cancun's most stunning underwater worlds during this shipwreck swim and snorkel tour. Paddle through tropical fish, coral reefs, shipwrecks, and giant sea turtles over the course of the day. This small-group excursion that ensures personalized attention and service and includes round-trip transportation from your Cancun hotel.
This ATV/Zipline adventure was fun for all. Whether you are looking for just a little adventure or all-out excitement, this adventure has what you need. After ziplining through the trees (upside down if you'd like), you'll go on an ATV adventure through the rough. Then it's off for some more excitement ziplining or jumping off a cliff into the Cenote, or just walking in and relaxing in the cool water. The fantastic guides are there to keep you safe, but also to make sure you have fun.
Combine a jungle zipline course, off-road ATV experience, and a cenote swim on a small-group adventure tour from Cancun to Extreme Adventure Eco Park. Take on a fun, family-friendly challenge in a scenic destination, with round-trip hotel transfer, refreshments, and all activities included.
This private tour completely exceeded our expectations. There were 7 of us in our group. 4 of us had been to Chitzen Itza as part of a group tour. As you can imagine we really had no interest in going back. Were we in for a surprise we were picked up promptly at 7AM and traveled straight to Chitzen Itza. Along the way we taught about a plethora of historical facts including the Mayan calendar and how numbers were displayed. Arriving before all the crowds flood in makes the experience that much better. We visited a local Cenote and then stopped in a town on the way back. This was a fantastic day!! Thank you so much for exceeding our expectations.
Unlike other reviews, this outing includes the driver and a guide once arriving at Tulum. We paid an additional fee for being picked up in Cancun, but it was worth it. We were a party of 5, including a senior citizen for whom we considered while booking the trip. The only thing that would have made this trip better would have been a guide on the van to give a better background of Tulum and its place in Mayan history. The cenote on the way back was not very impressive as we had previously visited the Cenote Silva Maya when returning from Chichen Itza. However, for the price, this was definitely the way to go.
Alberto and Benjamin were great! Our party of 10 (4 adults and 6 kids) had a fabulous time learning about the Maya history and Chichen Itza. The kids age 9-13 were enthralled with all the information that Alberto shared. Then they recommended the cenote and lunch at Selva Maya and it was fabulous. We had a wonderful day and the kids said it was worth the 3 hour drive from Cancun. That alone says it all!
Skip the crowded bus tours at Chichen Itza. Instead, opt for a personalized excursion from Cancun or Riviera Maya. This private day trip lets you customize the itinerary with your guide and choose your own pickup time from the hotel. Entrance fees and a buffet lunch are included, along with beer and soda in a cooler aboard the air-conditioned vehicle. Bonus: swim in Ik Kil or Xcajum cenote.
Exclusive: Early Access to Chichen Itza from Cancún
Our first travel to Cancun and Yucatan
, Feb 2020
The experience was spectacular for me and my family. It was our first time to be in a tour with a guide. Ana Lilia or Layla is an excellent tour guide. We will always recommend her expertise in guiding tourist to Chichen Itza, she did an excellent job leading our tour. A special mention for Alex too, our driver who drove us safely to Yucatan and back to Cancun. It was an enjoyable tour and experience. My family (my husband and our daughter) will always recommended Viator and Amigos tour to anyone who wants to see Chichen Itza.
Frank was an amazing tour guide, making our time there extra special. So much history and beauty! I learned a lot, soaked up the sun and beauty, and left feeling inspired. Thanks to Frank and Alfredo (our driver), we had a magical time. Loved it!!!

This was hands down one of the best adventures we have done on our many trips. Chris, our guide, did a great job guiding a fun ride. The midway stop at an incredible cenote was perfect. Crystal clear water, "fresh" temperature, wonderful experience.
Got to drive a side by side in a downpour got so muddy. Rain hitting your face going through big puddles Seeing a hudge grasshopper and trantula Chris was amazing. Cenote Beautiful Good choice Super fun husband says I'm a crazy driver...I say "we have got to get one of these" funtimes...reccomend!
Journey deep into the Riviera Maya on this guided jungle buggy tour from Playa del Carmen. Steer a 4x4 buggy for about 18 miles and admire the lush forest scenery during this thrilling drive. Make a stop at a ranch for a refreshing swim and snorkel at a cenote. Hotel transport included.
The whole crew was so energetic and fun. We went in a big group of friends and this was definitely an experience we all enjoyed. They provided lunch which was sooo darn good, and drinks on drinks on drinks. We all danced to the great music that played. This was so worth it!
Cruise the Caribbean Sea on this triple-decker catamaran for a full day of sightseeing, snorkeling, shopping, and salsa dancing. Take advantage of the open bar and enjoy a Mexican fajita feast on board. Isla Mujeres All-Inclusive Catamaran Tour from Cancun
Definitely a “must” when in Cancun!
, Jan 2020
Everything was fantastic! The crew was on point with humor and good personality. My wife and I booked this for our anniversary and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Great drinks, great music and very fun energy!
During your time in Mexico, ensure you experience the white sands and turquoise waters of Isla Mujeres. On this full-day tour from Cancun, cruise to the beautiful island on a catamaran and snorkel in the protected waters of a marine park. Spend free time relaxing on the beach and feast on a lunch buffet accompanied by an open bar. Hotel pickup and drop-off in Cancun are included.
This excursion was better than we could have expected and perfect for a family with college age kids. Santiago, Carlos, Hugo and Ivan were the best and catered to us from the moment we arrive at the Marina. The day of our excursion the sun was out and the water was clear as could be, unfortunately the winds were too high making it too dangerous to snorkel but the staff made a great experience of it all as we sailed to Isla Mujeres with great music, drinks and snack. As we approach Isla Mujeres the staff came by to speak with us about a taxi excursion that would take you to all the big stops (turtle farm, shark petting, southern most point & more) on the island for ~$40 per car (which only fit 4 people).
Don't forget, when you arrive at the Marina for check-in you have to pay a docking and ocean national park fee!
Get door to door service and a chance to snorkel in the Mexican Caribbean during this 4.5-hour boat excursion from Cancun. Relax on board the comfortable boat and enjoy included refreshments, then go ashore in Isla Mujeres to check it out. Pickup and drop-off from Cancun hotels is included.
great experience, manny & Domingo made everything perfect for us! Had so much, they made sure you were having a good time, you always had a drink in your hand, an always making you laugh! The buffet food was amazing too! will be coming back to do this again!
If it wasn't for Manny, this would be a 2 star review. The drinks on the boat were absolutely awful and the lunch at the stop was meh. I would recommend less time at the first stop and more time at the second stop. Good experience for the price, but improving the quality of the drinks would go a long way. The beer was watery and the cocktails were pure sugar. It was also a huge turnoff to see how the cups were "cleaned" (aka just dipped into a bucket).
This was so much fun! Manny is the best! The crew made sure we all had fun and took really great care of us! When you get to Isla Mujeres, get A BUGGIE and go on the extra mini tour that Manny gives! It's soooooo worth it! Thank you for making my birthday completely unforgettable!
Perfect for party animals, this 7-hour cruise to Isla Mujeres from Cancun includes an open bar and live entertainment guaranteed to get you in the party mood. Sail on the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, stop to snorkel at a reef abundant with marine life, and enjoy free time to shop and swim on the beautiful Isla Mujeres. Your party cruise includes unlimited drinks and a buffet lunch of fish, chicken, pasta, and salad.
Jet Ski + Swim with Turtles Snorkeling Tour + Parasailing Water Sport Combo Tour
Great Experience poor execution
, Oct 2019
The jetskis were awesome and we had alot of fun on those, lots of adrenaline. The snorkeling was cool as well. It was not to see the sunken boat and the statues underwater but it was very tiring to find the turtles when we went out. The reason I gave this an average review is because my husband got seasick after riding in the boat going to snorkel. He had to get evacuated after the first stop and while I was still snorkeling he got taken out. When I got back on the boat no one told me where he was until after I asked. If you know people have come together as you know when we take the welcome picture a little communication would be beneficiary. Then I would not have to worry about us leaving him in the middle of the ocean on our honeymoon. Then we get back to the dock and its time for parasailing and my husband is still sick. I request a refund for a portion we were not able to use and they refused!. So I paid for 3 activities and only was able to use 2.
The tour was an excellent way to spend your day. I was researching a tour that involved excitement, exercise, and the opportunity to appreciate oceanic wildlife while enjoying the warm ocean of Cancun and this was it! I found it amazing that one of the crew members was present with an underwater camera and video camera to collect photos of the journey. They were careful to make sure that they captured each participant in each of the three activities.
Spend an exciting day out on the water off the coast of Cancun with this water sports combo package. Take a snorkel tour and stop at multiple spots to observe marine life, like sea turtles and coral, a shipwreck, underwater statues and more. Sail above the coast and the Caribbean on a parasailing adventure, then, zoom through the azure waters and ride the waves on a shared jet ski.
Don't miss on this one. The tour guide Jesus was extremely knowledgeable. Ancient ruins plus list to a Mayan community. Steep yourselves in ancient history; take a glimpse at the traditions of the indigenous community who keep the alive.
Discover the essence of the ancient Maya civilization on this full-day excursion to Coba and the Tulum ruins. This Cancun Super Saver takes you to explore Tulum's ruins with an expert guide, then jump into a rejuvenating underground cenote. Tour Coba, a once-thriving Maya village deep in the rainforest. Enjoy Yucatanean specialties at a buffet lunch and round-trip transportation from your Cancun hotel.
Beautiful trip. See all these features in 1 day, be prepared it's long but absolutely awesome. I was disappointed not knowing ahead of time that we had to pay 40 pesos per life jacket in order to be able to swim in the Cenote. Also, the optional bike ride fee of 140 pesos (for 2 ppl return trip) to the bottom of Coba would have been nice to know ahead of time. My party was okay as we had enough money but another family didn't carry anything and weren't able to partake.
The Tulum, Coba was great, didn’t get in the cenote and we didn’t get to do the playa del Carmen. They told us they would take us to playa del Carmen but we would have to get our own taxi back to our hotel because it was to far for them to take us back. So we had them just take us back to our hotel. Also food they severed us was just ok.
Visit two of the most important Maya archaeological sites on this full-day tour: Coba and Tulum. Admire the backdrop of the Caribbean Sea while exploring the temples and pyramids of Tulum with a certified guide, then head to Coba to climb to the top of Nohoch Muul—the tallest pyramid on the Yucatán Peninsula. In the afternoon, take a swim in a 'cenote' (underground cave), sit down for a traditional Mexican lunch, and explore the city of Playa del Carmen. Round-trip transport is included.
The Chichen Itza trip was long but fantastic. We were picked up from our hotel right on time, and from that moment on our guide, Carlos, made the day fun, informative and easy. Since our group was multilingual, he easily switched back and forth between English and Spanish, teaching us about Mayan culture and history. Diving and swimming in the cenotes was refreshing after walking through the ruins, and grabbing some photos and a quick dessert in Valladolid was a great way to end the day. The only thing I didn't love was the cooking demonstration and mini tour of the small town before lunch. By that point, we were pretty hot and hungry, and just getting inside for A/C and lunch would have been preferable. Overall, though, this was a great trip and well worth it.
First of all, we loved our guide, Jorge. He made the entire trip really fun. The way there, we learned a lot about Mayan culture and the temple and sites we were going to visit. I will say, though, the Mayan village we stopped at felt a little harassing, because they really really want you to buy stuff. But overall, it was pleasant. We also had an English guide for Chichen Itza itself that was nice.
Explore spectacular Chichen Itza on this full-day tour of the UNESCO World Heritage site. Stop for a swim in a nearby cenote before a certified guide leads you through the ancient capital of the Maya Empire, considered the most important archaeological zone of the Yucatán. Visit the ball court, El Castillo (the Castle), Pyramid of Kukulkan and Temple of the Warriors. Then, indulge in a buffet lunch of regional dishes. Your Chichen Itza day trip includes round-trip hotel transport from Cancun.
Deluxe Shared One-Way or Round Trip Cancun Airport
, Feb 2020
Incredible service. Friendly drivers and pick-up at the airport. Wound up having a solo ride, which they arranged for me so that I would not have to wait a long time for other riders. On the way back, they allowed an additional person to join the ride back to the airport with me (who was at the same hotel and had not arranged transportation) at the last minute, which was incredibly accommodating and kind. Everything was very smooth. Would highly recommend.
I started a review earlier. I hope it was received but just in case. !!! I have only glowing things to say about Viator. They are efficient , courteous, the car was clean, my driver was friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke very good english.
I highly recommend this company. Their rates are the best
Thank you to Viator for a stress free start to my holiday 😊

Private Isla Mujeres Catamaran Tour - Nal Gone Boat - For up to 13 people_
From $442.00 per group
Chilly January ride but great time
, Jan 2020
We had a great time. Snorkeled over a nature preserve between Cancun and Isla Mujeres that had lots to see including some goofy underwater statues at the end. Then had an hour on Isla Mujeres to shop and grab a bite. The crew was great, friendly, and kept the cerveza flowing. The weather was cool and windy so we got bumped up to a larger cat--not the Nal Gone--which was great. The port access was down an alley behind an older resort which seemed a little sketchy at first, but only because we didn't expect it.
Sail the clear waters of the Caribbean Sea aboard your own private catamaran during this half-day tour from Cancun. Your captain can take you to Isla Mujeres or other great spots around the bay, and provides time to go snorkeling at the coral reef, stop at secluded beaches, and lounge on the 32-foot (10-meter) catamaran's deck. Bring your own group of up to 13 people on a private sailing tour that includes unlimited drinks and use of snorkel equipment.
Don’t make a complicated vacation trip with an early start, it’s better you chose the starting time and visit two ruins sites in just one day. This Combo gives you the option to choose the order of activities and has all the “must” on your trip to the Mayan Riviera. Pictures, food, tradition, nature, and culture are part of this special adventure you can have on this private trip.
Playa del Carmen Jungle Tour: Tulum, Cenote Snorkeling, 4x4 Ride and Ziplining
, Feb 2020
This excursion was 10/10! The day started with 2 ziplines, and then we ziplined into a cenote, then snorkeled for a good amount of time, then 2 more ziplines, and then repelling down into another cenote! We were fed a Mayan lunch and then spent a few hours at the Tulum Ruins which has the most beautiful beach. Well worth the money and Sarah is the best guide!! Makes you feel very safe on the ziplines and is very knowledgeable.
In the beginning of the trip, participating and seeing a Mayan ritual was one of a kind experience. I am a Christian but getting to know a different culture/religion was interesting as well as what the Mayan descendant(ritual leader) prayed for was clear. 5 different zip lines and snorkeling were fun. However, getting to the top of the zipline is dangerous and need to be extra careful. Wear shoes, not flip-flops. My tour guide, Jose Cruz was friendly, entertaining and very responsible to keep the group safe. Lastly Tulum tour was informative and my guide did a great job!
For improvement, the company needs to inform people when the ride arrival gets delayed a little. Also need to indicate the name of the tour company in the voucher. Otherwise, you would never know which tour bus/van you take.
Depart Playa del Carmen for a day of cultural experience and adrenaline-inducing activities. Begin with a visit to Tulum, an ancient Maya coastal city that's home to archaeological remains and sandy beaches. Then visit a modern-day Maya community before entering the jungle to explore two vast underground river systems. Snorkel their cavern waters and afterward, board a 4x4 Unimog for a thrilling ride toward a series of ziplining and rappelling adventures. Wind down with a buffet lunch of delicious Maya cuisine.
