Jewellery Enameling with a Designer
While learning new skills, you will make your own very special piece(s) of jewellery to bring back home with you from your Peak District Experience.
Your special pieces will be inspired by your imagination and the unique perspective of creating something new in a workspace that has been the home of beautiful creations for two centuries.
Our workshop is located in a historic textiles mill in England's Peak District. While textiles are no longer being produced at the mill, you can hear the waterfall and see the remains of the mill pond which fed the water wheel that powered the mill. Most of the buildings have been preserved and remain much the same as they were from its inception at the end of the 18th century.

Tudor Tour
I will show you some of the wonderful locations in my Rolls Royce or Bentley. I am a former History master from a well known Independent School and hope to educate and entertain you.
Since it is bespoke you can choose which areas of history and their locations interest you. You could choose Sulgrave Manor, the ancestral home of George Washington and/or Canon's Ashby, one of the former monasteries dissolved on the orders of King Henry VIII. Alternatively, you can visit Blenheim Palace, home of the Duke of Marlborough and birthplace and grave of the greatest Englishman, Winston Churchill. There is an opportunity to visit delightful villages in the Cotswolds or visit the Downton Abbey locations.
Trips can include Hampton Court, built by Wolsey and stolen by Henry VIII (explore the Palace and understand the ramifications of the Royal Divorce, the confiscation of land from the Church to the spread of its wealth and its eventual impact on liberty and the growth of the British Empire).

Guided Nottinghamshire Walk with 'Posh Picnic'
There is no better way to enjoy a delightful Autumn day than packing your rucksack, lacing those boots and taking a walk back in time, through one of North Nottinghamshire’s most historic towns, quaint villages, pretty waterways and surrounding countryside. The small and attractive market town of East Retford in North Nottinghamshire is one of the oldest boroughs in England and is steeped in history and local folklore, from the notorious Highwayman, Dick Turpin, to the most legendary outlaw, Robin Hood. Our walk takes us over field edge tracks, through ancient woodland and by road, before joining our pretty waterway path along the Chesterfield Canal, where we will stop for a delightful picnic provided by BaRnby’s from Blyth.
