No lunch, Dover a waste of time

The visit to Leeds Castle and Canterbury were great. The trip to Dover is worthless. You stop in the harbor and you see some white cliffs way off in the distance. We also did not get our lunch. Evidently, they weren't ready when the bus left, so we had to squeeze in some last minute scrambling for food in Canterbury and there was no compensation for the missed lunch.

The tour guide, Tony, was great and very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed visiting Leeds Castle and seeing the cliffs especially. We ended up seeing the cliffs from afar from the beach. Canterbury Cathedral was beautiful, but is under construction right now.

Great Day!

Loved the day! We arrived at Leeds Castle just as it opened, so we missed all the crowds. Beautiful castle in a beautiful setting! Wished we could have gone a little closer to the cliffs of Dover, but we understand why. Canterbury was a lovely spot to visit and we learned quite a bit about the history of England at the Cathedral. Morteu, the tour guide and Armando, the bus driver were very informative and lead a great day! The day was about an hour shorter than anticipated, so I would suggest that the group could have spent another 1/2 hour at Leeds and Canterbury..... just an idea! Overall, I would highly recommend the trip!

Leeds Castle and Canterbury tour

I went Leeds Castle and Canterbury. It was fun to see the castle which the grounds and the castle are beautiful. Stopped at Dover to see the White Cliffs. Dover is a great little place by the Channel. Pablo was friendly and very knowledgeable about the history. This was a half English and Spanish speaking tour. I met some great people and had a good time. I would definitely do the tour again!

Pablo was an excellent tour guide. He made sure we all had everything we needed including how to find our way home at the end of the tour. This trip was definitely worth my time.

Leeds, Canterbury, Dover.

Wonderful trip without the crowds. While everyone else is heading west to Windsor and Stonehenge go east to Leeds. Canterbury- the old part of the town and the cathedral are both inspiring. Just gorgeous. Leeds is wonderfully refurbished. Dover is only a brief picture taking stop but still nice to see. Finish the day off with a boat taxi back down the Themes to see the waterfront lit up at night. Well worth the cost. And Matt(tour guide) and Tony(driver) were both very professional at their jobs. A bonus was the supplied box lunch which saved time for more site seeing rather than waiting in a restaurant.

The attractions are so alluring and The U.K. should be proud about it. The flow of the tour was further enhanced by our ingenious tour leader, Sandra, who is quite pleasant to listen to and is well equipped with knowledge about the sites. Simply Wonderful!

Beautiful locations - wish we had more time!

The overall itinerary was great. As always, the short visits leave you wanting more, but no complaints! The organization was efficient and well-communicated once we met the tour guide. Prior to that, however, I was confused as to where to meet and details of the trip - and I wasn't the only one! The information says to pick up a separate ticket at 8am, but when we showed up at the ticket office they said it was unnecessary and to go meet by the buses, which didn't depart for another half hour. Strange. And the meal box was terrible, but that was to be expected. Overall, a great tour experience.

Great day with Tish and Koli

We had a great small coach tour with tour guide Tish and driver Koli. Leeds Castle is so pretty, and I do feel that we had enough time there. Afterwards, we were given boxed lunch on the coach, which was tasty enough. We spent substantial time in Canterbury, where we were let loose to explore the Cathedral (there are some Kings' tombs there!) and wander the fun shopping areas. We barely stopped on the beach in Dover, but the whole tour would need to be different in order to give us more time there in the castle or something, so I'm not upset. Then we ended in Greenwich, and took a nice boat back up the Thames (this wasn't a boat for just the tour, there were also commuters on it, seemingly). I recommend this tour!
