On the day of your exhilarating experience, make your own way to The Slide, located approximately 15 minutes walk from Stratford underground station. As you approach the ArcelorMittal Orbit sculpture, designed by revered architect Sir Arnish Kapoor, gaze at the frenetic tangle of red cables.

Opt either to take the stairs or a high-speed elevator to the first of two viewing platforms, from which you’ll enjoy panoramic views of London’s iconic skyline. Use interactive screens to locate landmarks including The Shard, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and Canary Wharf, and gain an alternative perspective of London by looking through two shape-shifting mirrors.

Then, once you’ve summoned your courage, don a protective helmet, receive a short safety briefing, and prepare to plummet down the world’s tallest, longest, and fastest slide. 

Travel through light and dark sections at speeds of up to 15 mph, wind around the sculpture 12 times in a tight corkscrew, and experience gentle curves and thrilling drops.

Very disappointing having bought the tickets and got to the site only to find the slide wasn't operating. Can't change the date.. Tickets are refundable but won't buy in case it won't operate again.. Poor management

I was not contacted by Viator to inform that the adverse weather conditions had resulted in the ride being closed. viator has been informed of the decision to close the ride 3 days prior but did not pass this message on. The ride provider could not contact me directly as viator refused to release my contact details. It was a wasted and expensive trip to London

Really enjoyed the experience. We all had fun. However, we were turned away on the day we booked for and we had to come back the next day. Some health and safety concern which was never explained. The communication over the re-booking was lacking- it was never confirmed by email. We came back the next day without being sure we would be able to use the slide, but all turned out fine in the end. Beware!

Waiting for an hour past our allotted time, no member of staff told us what was happening just kept getting told to go back upstairs and look at the view - which is nice but we already spent half an hour looking at it and that is enough! We ended up leaving without using the slide
